Void Bill Management™

Over the years we’ve found void bill management to be the biggest issue agents face with utilities so we developed a solution to remove the hassle entirely. Each void account we set up on your behalf is managed by Ittria. You pay the bill on behalf of your landlord. We’ll open the utility account and audit any bills to ensure they’re accurate including validating meter reads you’ve sent us.

We follow up with you to confirm when the property is vacant and when it has been re-let. We’ll ask you to send over the tenant move-in date and we arrange for the void property account to be closed when the new tenant moves in. Your team of agents never need to contact a utility company.

In addition to switching the energy supply on your behalf, we also send an email and text to your tenant prior to moving in. We message tenants letting them know that we notify local council, water utility and incumbent utility supplier that they’re moving in and provide them with details of each, including meter reads — all for free.

Using the tenant details you send us before the tenant moves in, we liaise with every council & water utility across the UK and automatically send a notification that the previous tenant is moving out and your new tenant is moving in.
If you choose Void Switching™ then most of the time the supplier will be our preferred one but if you’ve chosen Tenant Switching alone or if a property can’t be switched, then we always notify the incumbent supplier including providing meter reads. This way the outgoing and incoming tenants are both assured of receiving a correct bill and if there is a void period your landlord is only charged for the correct period.
